2025 World Champion and Olympic gold with the Italian women’s national volleyball team at the Paris 2024 Games, the first ever, Julio Velasco has built the foundations that over the last 30 years have brought Italian volleyball to the highest international levels.
He was the legendary coach of the Generation of Phenomena, the storied Italian men’s national team that in the 1990s won three consecutive World Championships, earning the title of Best Team of the Century, and his coaching methodologies cement him as one of the most visionary and innovative coaches in world sport.
A former sports executive and head coach of numerous national and club teams, with 3 World titles, 3 European titles, 5 World League titles, one Nations League, and an Olympic gold, he has been inducted into both the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) Hall of Fame and the international Hall of Fame.
His methodologies for team management and for developing individual and collective leadership have become an absolute benchmark for thousands of entrepreneurs, managers, and companies throughout Italy.

EVENT INFO
Where and when will the event take place?
The event will be held on Friday, March 27, at Una Hotels Expo Fiera, Via Keplero 12, Pero (Milan), and will also be available online.
Before the event, you will receive an email with all the necessary information to access the venue or the online platform, according to the type of ticket you purchased.
How to reach the venue
- By CAR: To switch on Google Maps CLICK HERE
Parking at the hotel is available for a fee, subject to availability. - By AIRPLANE: Malpensa and Linate airports are located about 30 minutes drive away from the Hotel.
- By PUBLIC TRANSPORT: From the Central Railway Station take the metro MM2, change at Cadorna with MM1 and stop at Pero or Molino Dorino.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk away. Shuttle service (on request: +39 02 300551) to/from Molino Dorino Mon-Fri 8:30/10:30 and 18:00/20:00.
More than 1,000 participants are expected at the event, and several events are taking place at Fiera Milano on those days, for these reasons we recommend you to:
– reach the location early (by 9:00 am);
– preferably use the metro.
There is a shuttle service to the hotel from Molino Dorino Station (approx. 2 min.) between 8:30/10:30 and 17:00/18:00
Food & Beverage services
The welcome coffee, coffee break, and lunch are included in the participation fee.
Lunch, served at the table, includes a three-course menu.
The catering service is organized to offer suitable alternatives for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets, as well as for participants with allergies or intolerances.
Once seated, please inform your waiter of any specific dietary needs, and they will indicate the available options.

The venue is fully accessible to guests with disabilities.

How can I attend via streaming?
To join the online event, simply purchase your ticket and connect on the event day by following the instructions sent to the email address provided during registration.

In the days following the live broadcast, you will receive an email notification once the full recording is available in the On Demand Area.
You will be able to watch it again anytime for 7 days.

What does registering for the Julio Velasco Day?
The Julio Velasco Day place in person in Milan and, at the same time, via live streaming.
Registration consists of filling out an online form (approx. 2 minutes) and paying the fee by bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card.

Can the event be funded through the use of Interprofessional Funds?
Absolutely. You can use Interprofessional Funds to finance participation in our events, using your training account or through tender/notice procedures and training vouchers.
Is there a group discount?
Discounts of up to 10% are available depending on the number of tickets purchased.

Why is it better to register right away for the event?
We apply an early‑booking policy, so if you register now, you secure your participation at the most advantageous rate.
Do company and group registrations require the immediate submission of all names?
No, once the package is purchased, you can provide the details of all participants up to 30 days before the start of the event.
What happens if I register and can no longer attend?
If you can no longer attend, by informing us of your absence at least 15 days before the event date at info@roigroup.it, you can choose to:
- have someone else replace you;
- attend one of the events that will be held within the next 12 months;
- opt to follow the event via streaming and request activation of your access link.
What happens if I register and then force majeure prevents the event from taking place?
Your credit is always guaranteed: if the live event cannot be held, you can experience the event via live streaming or keep your credit for a future event of the same value.
Is it possible to interact with Julio Velasco?
Yes. During the event, both live in Milan and via live streaming, you will be able to send questions to Julio Velasco.
Will I receive materials to put what I’ve learned into practice?
In the days following Julio Velasco Day you will receive a follow‑up that includes an Executive Report with the key concepts from all sessions, mind maps, and the teaching materials the speakers authorize us to share exclusively with participants.
